Elizabeth Wheeler Adams Clark was born in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, England on January 28, 1832, the daughter of Joseph Wheeler and Lydia Gould. Her first husband was Alfred Clark, nephew of my fourth Great Grandfather, Stephen Adams. These men were both lost at sea; Stephen on the “Olive” in 1830 and Alfred on the “Lucille Curtis” in 1861. She had three children with Alfred – Lizzie, Alfred, and Walter.
She married George Henry Clark in 1863 and had two children – Warren and Eleanor. She died on February 1, 1899 at the age of 66. The cause of death is listed as Paralysis.
