Yesterday, City Council Member at Large, Jamie O’Hara and his landscaping crew were back in First Parish Burial Ground and Clark’s Cemetery for the second time this year. Their first task was to rough cut the large overgrown area, so the the city contractor can use finish mowers in the area.
They also rough cut in Clark’s. I’m hoping to get Clark’s added to a regular mowing schedule now that the cemetery is accessible. Mr. O’Hara’s crew also removed invasive trees and trees that pose a risk to tombstones.
Next on our agenda is to get the large pile of Japanese Knotweed bagged up and removed.
